Rhode Island KIDS COUNT will be having our Annual Celebration of Children’s Health and Well-Being. On Monday, November 24, 2025 from 12:00 – 1:30 pm at the Providence Marriott Hotel in Providence, RI. This event gathers more than 250 community leaders, elected officials, and health care advocates to reflect on the progress that Rhode Island has made in achieving positive health outcomes for children and identify areas still in need of improvement. The celebration includes an update on data related to children’s health and well-being including Rhode Island’s national ranking for children’s health coverage, data related to children’s mental health, and other indicators related to social determinates of health.
The Celebration of Children’s Health & Well-Being reflected on the progress that Rhode Island has made in achieving positive health outcomes for children. The event also highlighted policy measures to keep children healthy, and underscored the important role that youth, parents, and other community members play in achieving important policy changes that support children’s health.
