On Saturday, September 12, 2026, Swim Across America will host its annual open water charity swim at Roger Wheeler State Beach in Narragansett, RI. This event welcomes more than 700 swimmers each year and funds raised benefit Women's Oncology and cancer research at Women & Infants Hospital.
We are looking for members of our community to join the event volunteer team for a memorable day at the beach, supporting cancer research. Volunteers staff all aspects of the event including set up, swimmer check-in and check-out, beach operations, merchandise, hospitality, and clean up.
